Tapple - Game Showcase

For a Weekly Game Jam #211, I designed a game called Tapple: a game about tapping trees for apples. Together, with programmer, Kyle, and myself as audio/art generalist, Tapple was created!

The game features cute, flat-textured low-poly 3D models, as well as a charming Main Theme with playful piano notes and Pipa instrumentation.

Yibo and Yabo are bunnies that really like apples, but are quite lazy. Collect apples by accelerating into Apple trees, catching the apples in your basket, and then sell those apples to hungry and demanding bunnies! With help from you, an apple-catching spider robot, these bunnies will likely be fed in no time!

Play this game on itch: https://gneisskitty.itch.io/tapple

I used Trello in place of a GDD. The game turned out looking much nicer than my original concepts.
